Lovlina Borgohain is the first woman from Assam to qualify for the Olympics and the second boxer from the state to represent the country after Shiva Thapa. The boxer won a gold medal at the 1st India Open International Boxing Tournament held in New Delhi and a silver medal at the 2nd India Open International Boxing Tournament held in Guwahati. She won a bronze medal at the 2019 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships held at Ulan-Ude in Russia.

Swachh Survekshan is an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in cities and towns across India. It was launched as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, which aimed to make India clean and free of open defecation. The first survey was undertaken in 2016. The surveys are carried out by Quality Council of India. 

The Border Security Force (BSF) is India’s Primary border guarding organisation raised in 1965. The population of India is expected to reach 1.52 billion by 2036 with reference to 2011. India’s population is expected to grow by 25% in 2036 as compared to 2011.
