Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board invites online application for 34 posts of Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.) and Civil Defence Demonstrator/ Wireless Operator/ PBX Operator. The vacancies are in Office of the Controller of Civil Defence of Darrang, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong and Kokrajhar districts under Director General of Civil Defence & Commandant General of Home Guards, Assam. Both Men and Women Cnadidates are eligible to apply. 1. ASSISTANT DEPUTY CONTROLLER, CIVIL DEFENCE (JR.)
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (Male- 03 posts (UR-03, OBC/ MOBC-01, SC-01) and Female- 01 post (UR))
Educational Qualification: i) Minimum Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University.
ii) Pass Certificate of Instructor Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur/ NDRF Academy, Nagpur.
iii) Pass Certificate of Elementary Fire Service Training or any other advance Civil Defence Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur or any other Institute recognized by the Govt. of India.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.14000 — Rs.49000
2. CIVIL DEFENCE DEMONSTRATOR/ WIRELESS OPERATOR/ PBX OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 28 Nos. (Male- 20 posts (UR-10, OBC/ MOBC-06, SC-01, ST(P)-02, ST(H)-01) and Female- 08 posts (UR-05, OBC/ MOBC-02, ST(P)-01))
Educational Qualification: i) Minimum HSLC Passed from a recognized Board.
ii) Pass Certificate of Instructor Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur/ NDRF Academy, Nagpur.
iii) Pass Certificate of Elementary Fire Service Training or any other advance Civil Defence Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur or any other institute recognized by the Govt. of India.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.14000 — Rs.49000
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC/ MOBC category.
Only candidates who are ordinarily resident of Assam are eligible to apply.
The vacancies are in Office of the Controller of Civil Defence of Darrang, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong and Kokrajhar districts under Director General of Civil Defence & Commandant General of Home Guards, Assam.
Physical Fitness:- Candidates must have sound health both mentally and physically and free from organic defect or bodily infirmity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duty. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Practical Test. The written test will be conducted in all the District Headquarters or Range wise or at Guwahati depending upon the number of candidates.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for two years.
